Rosalie Ann Marshall Jacobs Newell Coleman, 74, of Windsor, IL, passed away peacefully the morning of Friday, December 30, 2022.
She was born on May 22, 1948, the daughter of Kenneth Wayne and Cleo Elinor (Clapper) Marshall. Rosalie graduated from Windsor High School in the Class of 1966. She fulfilled many roles through the years from managing MotoMart in Shelbyville, preparing the donuts at the Windsor IGA, playground monitor at the Windsor Grade School, Brownie Leader and writing her weekly column for the Windsor paper. Rose enjoyed reading, studying the word of God and her family. She was the core of her family, keeping everyone in line, connected and reminding us of our connections to each other. She was a cutthroat Uno player, diehard Cubs fan, and of course, a lover of all things Snoopy.
She is survived by her children: Greg (Kathy) Jacobs, Margaret Jacobs, Lillian Michelle (Anita) Kemper; brother, Edward Clapper Marshall (Loretta Byers); niece, Sara Marshall and many grandchildren, biological, adopted, and loved.
