Phyllis J. (White) Henon

Phyllis J. Henon, 79, of Windsor, IL, passed away at 4:53 p.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2021, in the Palm Terrace in Mattoon, IL.  

Phyllis was born on June 2, 1942, in Trilla, the daughter of Clarence and Edith (White) White.  She was born into a large family, having over 20 siblings.  She married the love of her life, Ned J. Henon and they were blessed with one son, Jason, and 42 years of marriage.  Phyllis worked at the Diamond-E Packers onion ring plant in Mattoon before its closing in 1995. 

Surviving are her son, Jason Henon of Windsor; three grandchildren:  Kimberly, Arianna and Trinity, all of Windsor; many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, several brothers and sisters. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, in Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home with Reverend Richard Eident officiating.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Burial will follow in St. Rose Cemetery in Montrose.  Memorials may be made to the family.  Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home in Windsor is assisting the family.
