Mark W. Arganbright

Mark W. Arganbright, 68, of Effingham, IL passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021 at home surrounded by his loved ones. 

Private family services will be held.  Memorials may be made in Mark’s name to the Beecher City Area Kluthe Center and mailed to Lockart-Green Funeral Home, %Mark Arganbright, 302 W. Main St., Shelbyville, IL 62565. Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Beecher City is assisting the family.

Mark was born on April 24, 1952, in Shelbyville, the son of Reverend Wayne and Marylee (Coatney) Arganbright.  He was a 1970 graduate of North Knox High School in Indiana.  Mark and Carla Kutcher were united in holy matrimony on March 10, 1979 and were blessed with 41 years of marriage.  Mark worked for Reed Steel, Petty Printing and Pizza Hut.  He was a volunteer fireman with the Shumway Fire Department retiring as Lieutenant in 2005.  He enjoyed fishing, horseback riding, cruising on his motorcycle or camero and strolling through flea markets.

Surviving are his wife, Carla Arganbright; son, Brandon (special friend, Christina) Arganbright; daughter, Becky (Levi) Brummett; grandchildren:  Mya Sword, Jayci, Vada and Quinn Arganbright, Ethan and Delaney Brummett. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Wayne and Marylee Arganbright; son, Cory Arganbright; brother, Paul Arganbright and in-laws, Everett and Julia Kutcher.
