Lucus B. Schultz

Lucus B. Schultz, 37, of Strasburg, IL passed away at 10:19 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2021.  

Lucus was born on December 13, 1983, in Jacksonville, FL, the son of Micheal and Heather (Porter) Schultz.  He was a 2002 graduate of Stew-Stras High School.  Lucus and Julianne Holland were married on May 4, 2007.  He was a trailer mechanic with Sherwin Williams in Effingham and enjoyed tractor pulling, working on his tractors and he loved the Fourth of July festivities, especially lighting off fireworks.  Lucus was a member of the Christian County Tractor Pulling Association. 

Surviving are his parents, Micheal and Heather Schultz of Stewardson; wife, Julianne Schultz of Strasburg; children:  James Blackwell of Charleston, Krystine Blackwell of Charleston, Sierra Cameron of Strasburg and Serinity Schultz of Strasburg; brother, Adam (April) Schultz of Neoga; sister:  Nicole Schultz of Stewardson and many nieces and nephews.  

He was preceded in death by his grandma and grandpa Porter. 

Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Brummerstedt Funeral Home in Stewardson.  Private burial will be held at a later date.  Brummerstedt Funeral Home is assisting the family.
