Linda Sue (Poe) Shaw

Linda Sue Shaw, 74, of Effingham, IL, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023, in Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Effingham, IL.  

Linda was born on February 16, 1949, in Effingham, the daughter of Roscoe and Lorraine Poe.  She married Bobbie Russell Shaw on October 12, 1974, in Sullivan, and he preceded her in death on June 9, 2009.  Linda worked as an LPN for many years in Effingham and the surrounding communities. 

A private family burial will take place on Thursday, April 20, 2023, in Stewardson Cemetery where she was laid to rest next to the love of her life, Bobbie.  Brummerstedt Funeral Home in Stewardson is assisting the family.
