Laura E. Gillespey

Laura E. Gillespey, 77, of Stewardson, IL passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, IN.

Laura was born on July 3, 1944, in Stewardson, the daughter of Arthur Vernon and Pearl Mae (Daniels) Gillespey.

Surviving is her daughter, Connie (Jimmy) Wheeler of Killeen, TX; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and one sister, Elizabeth Ann Knifly of Mattoon. 

Laura was preceded in death by her parents; sisters:  Lucille, Mary, Lillie and Rosie; brothers:  Ted, Joseph and John.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 27, 2021, in Brummerstedt Funeral Home in Stewardson with Reverend David Ducommon officiating.  Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.  Burial will take place in Stewardson Cemetery.  Brummerstedt Funeral Home in Stewardson is assisting the family.
