James "Jim" A. Winings

James “Jim” A. Winings, 62, of Springfield, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at home.

Jim was born on March 7, 1958, in Mattoon, the son of Victor and Rosemary Winings.  He worked for Motorola in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and retired from Sears in Springfield after 20+ years of service.  He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR and computers.  He had his own software company, Winning Edge Software.

Surviving are two sons:  Jim Winings and Dustin Winings, both of Florida; brother, Terry (Heide) Winings of Tennessee; two nephews:  Marcus Winings and Bastian Winings and his extended family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Findlay is assisting the family.
