Dennis Foutch Obituary

Dennis Leo Foutch, a cherished family man and avid outdoorsman, passed away peacefully at his home in Windsor, Illinois, on March 19, 2024, at the age of 83. Born on May 19, 1940, in Isabel Township, Illinois, to Leo and Evelyn (Brillhart) Foutch.

On July 5, 1959, Dennis united in marriage with Carroll Towery in Havana, Illinois, embarking on a journey of love and partnership that would span over six decades. Together, they raised a family that would expand to include their children Stephanie Morey of Bushnell, Dennis M. Foutch of Cary, Dianne Foutch of Sadorus, and Beth Damiani of Bushnell, as well as 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.   Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Carroll, of Windsor; his devoted children; his treasured grandchildren; and his extended family, including his brother, Donald Foutch of Alabama, and his sister, Shirley Cutler of Arizona.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson.

Dennis enjoyed his many years of service as a volunteer paramedic and firefighter in Huntley, Illinois and his involvement with the Windsor Gun Club where he enjoyed skeet shooting.  An avid fisherman, camper, grill master and woodworker, Dennis found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Dennis's beloved dogs were his constant companions, sharing in his adventures and providing comfort and joy throughout his life.

As we bid farewell to Dennis, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and love. His was a journey filled with laughter, kindness, and an abundance of cherished moments with his family and friends. May we find comfort in the knowledge that his legacy will endure through the lives he touched.  Rest in peace, dear Dennis, until we meet again.
