Angela Marie Olinger

Angela Marie Olinger, 39, of Effingham, IL passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 in OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. 

Angela was born on May 15, 1982, the daughter of Dwight Ansel and Linda Jean (Fuesting) Olinger.  She was a 2001 graduate of Beecher City High School.  She enjoyed being a grandmother and spending time with loved ones including her cat, Spazz.  

Surviving are her daughters:  Sierra Nichole (Marcus Schafer) Olinger of Effingham and Jaiden Marie Olinger of Ashley; granddaughter, Charlotte Nichole Schafer; sister, Stephanie (Lucas) Kirkbride; grandmothers:  Fern Olinger and Louise Fuesting and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  

She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Jean; father, Dwight Ansel and grandfathers:  Marvin Olinger and Christopher Fuesting.  

Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 16, 2021 in Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Beecher City.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 in Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Beecher City with Pastor Lucas Shelley officiating.  A private burial will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be made in Angela’s name to the American Diabetes Association or to the family.  Lockart-Green Funeral Home is assisting the family.
