Sharon M. Foor

Sharon M. Foor, 79, of Shelbyville, IL passed away at 7:08 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at the Shelbyville Manor in Shelbyville, IL with her loved ones by her side.

Sharon was born on June 11, 1940, in Decatur, the daughter of Floyd and Virginia (Towers) Eversole. She married Kimble Foor and from that union they were blessed with four children: Stacey, Denise, Teresa and Vicky. Sharon worked as a caregiver at Olivewood Health Care Center in Shelbyville, the Shelbyville Manor in Shelbyville and Hands Across Illinois in Pana. She was a member of the Tower Hill Christian Church. She loved gardening and owned and operated her own greenhouse for many years. She also enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with her loved ones.

Surviving are her son, Stacey (Tracy) of Windsor; daughters: Denise (Todd) of Strasburg, Teresa (Ron) of Sallisaw, OK and Vicky (Mark) of Lakewood; brother, Leon (Cheryl) of Missouri; sister, Alice of Decatur; grandchildren: Krystn (Lance), Kaylee (James), Zach, Jamie (Nick), Elizabeth (Bobby), Andrew (Brittney), Amber and Brock (Lacey); eight great-grandchildren and good friend, Glenna of Decatur.

She was preceded in death by her parents; aunt, Bessie; special aunt, Marjorie and Kimble Foor.
Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2020 followed by funeral services at 6:00 p.m. at Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Shelbyville with Pastor Nick Brown officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camp One Way, 1654 E 2945 N Rd, Mt. Auburn, IL 62547.
