Samuel E. Linder

Samuel E. Linder, 69, of Stewardson, IL passed away at 1:07 a.m. on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.

Samuel was born on August 24, 1950, in Kinmundy, the son of Robert Linder and Lillie (Olden) Mangner. Samuel and June Kay were married June 1, 1970 and together they raised four children: Philip, Rodney, Gene and Natasha. Samuel worked as a truck driver for Moomaw Trucking in Stewardson for 30 years before retiring in 2017.

Surviving are his children: Philip Linder of Bement, Rodney (Janice) Linder of Mason, Gene Linder of Stewardson and Natasha Linder of Stewardson; several grandchildren; seven sisters; one brother and friend, June Linder of Effingham.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2020 at Brummerstedt Funeral Home in Stewardson with a gathering for friends and family from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be made to the family.
