Janice K. Allen

Janice K. Allen, 62, of Tower Hill, IL passed away peacefully on March 17, 2020, in the comfort of her home, while surrounded by her loving family.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at the Perryville United Methodist Church in Perryville, MO with Pastor Kevin Barron officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be made in Janice's name to the donor's favorite charity. Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Shelbyville is assisting the family.

Janice was born on May 19, 1957, in Perryville, MO, the daughter of Virginia and Paul Lowes. Janice Lowes and Lloyd Allen were united in holy matrimony on May 22, 1993 in Perryville, MO. Janice was employed by Caterpillar in Decatur, IL. She loved sitting on her porch in the morning with a cup of coffee, decorating her house, doing yard work and spending time with her mini pinscher Rocco. Janice will be greatly missed by all those who loved her dearly.

She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Lloyd Allen of Tower Hill, IL; parents, Virginia and Paul Lowes of Perryville, MO; sister, Kendra (James) Rhodes of Tower Hill, IL; two nieces: Loren Miller of Cape Girardeau, MO and Ashlyn Rhodes of Tower Hill, IL; two great-nephews: Hunter and Logan Groves of Cape Girardeau, MO; mother and father-in-law, Eunice and Lloyd Allen Sr. of St. Mary, MO; sisters-in-law: Kim (Davey) Picou of St. Mary, MO and Margaret (Mark) Sullivan of Cape Girardeau, MO and brother-in-law, Mark (Angie) Allen of Perryville, MO.

Preceding her in death were her maternal grandparents, Wilbert and Ottana Lawrence; paternal grandparents, Gail and Clara Lowes and brother-in-law, Clarence "Tiger" Allen.
