Daniel "Danny" Little

Daniel "Danny" E. Little, 64, of Beecher City, IL passed away at 7:20 a.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 6, 2020 at Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Beecher City with Brother Jay Huddleston officiating. Burial will take place in Bob Doane Cemetery in rural Beecher City. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Beecher City. Memorials may be made in Danny's name to the American Heart Association.

Danny was born on August 14, 1955, in Shelbyville, the son of Roland and Bonnie (Julius) Little. He was a 1973 graduate of Beecher City High School. Danny and Debra Palmer were united in holy matrimony on April 8, 1995. Danny worked for Beccue Builders in Altamont and farmed. He attended the Herrick Baptist Church. Spiritual life and Danny's dogs were very important to him. He could often be found reading Scriptures, playing with his dogs: Rambo, Bullet and Chi Chi or showing his creative side through his woodworking. Danny was especially proud of his son, Ben, who is following in his footsteps learning to run the family farm.

Surviving are his wife, Debra of Beecher City; son, Benjamin Little of Beecher City; siblings: Ray Lynn (Lori) Little of Bethany, Brenda Phelps of Beecher City, Debra (Robert) Grubaugh of Altamont; stepsiblings: Richard (Alice) Buzzard of Godfrey, Candy (David) Widick of St. Joseph, Eric (Lyna) Buzzard of St. Joseph, Julie Buzzard of Verdes, NM and Andrew Buzzard of Champaign; mother-in-law, Elsie Palmer of Effingham; brother-in-law, Gene Palmer of Santa Barbara, CA and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents, Roland and Bonnie Little; stepfather, Mike Buzzard, whom Danny held a special place in his heart for.
