Donna R. Witt, 60, of Windsor passed away at 7:50 a.m. Monday (August 17, 2009) at her residence.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Sand Creek Cemetery near Windsor with military rites. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, Windsor. Memorials may be made to the Lincolnland Hospice or the Windsor American Legion Post # 725.
She was born August 3, 1949 in Mattoon the daughter of Donald G. and Betty Ruth Spencer Witt.
She retired in December of 1987 after 20 years of service as Sergeant 1st Class E-7, US Army. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Windsor American Legion Post # 725.
Surviving are one sister, Judy Goad of Mattoon, one nephew, two nieces and special friend, Kaimi King.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Nancy Cappess and Joyce Durbin and one nephew, Joey.
