Audrey Mae Thomson 85 of Shelbyville, IL, formerly of Findlay, IL, passed away at 6:18 AM Saturday Nov. 28, 2009 in Shelbyville Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Shelbyville.
Audrey was born Jan. 21, 1924 in Pana, IL the daughter of John (Jack) and Susan McCleary Wafford.
She married William C. Thomson on Aug. 14, 1982 in Findlay and he passed away July 31, 2009.
Audrey was a homemaker and member of the First Christian Church of Shelbyville and formerly served as Church Secretary for ten years.She was an active member of the Findlay community when she lived there.
Surviving are a son Alvin Bryson and wife Carol of Huntingburg, IN; daughters: Nancy Stephens of Monticello, IL and Carol Logan and husband Leonard of Findlay, IL; step-son Scott Thomson of Dyersburg, TN; eight grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers: Gene Wafford and wife Carolyn of Pana, IL and John Wafford and wife Charlotte of Shelbyville; sisters: Charlene Robson of Centralia, IL and Dori Connor of Sumner, WA.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bill, her parents, granddaughter Greta and sister Helen Westphal.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday Dec. 4, 2009 in Wright Cemetery near Findlay.Memorials can be made to the St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
