Gertrude Grace Rentfrow, 92, of Strasburg passed away at 12:30 p.m. Saturday (April 4, 2009) at the Lakeland Nursing Home, Effingham.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Windsor Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, Windsor. Memorials may be made to the Strasburg Baptist Church.
She was born May 25, 1916 in Fayette County, IL the daughter of George and Lilly (Chris) Zander. She married Harrell Rentfrow March 3, 1940 and he preceded her in death May 24, 1986.
She was a member of the Strasburg Baptist Church
Surviving is brother, Alois (Short) Zander of St. Elmo; nieces and nephews; friend, Diana Boyer of Strasburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
