Robert Wayne Price, 64, of Shelbyville passed away at 9:20 a.m. Wednesday (February 4, 2009) in the Anderson Hospital, Maryville.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Lockart-Green Funeral Home, Shelbyville with Rev. Kevin Ray officiating. Visitation will be from noon until service time. Burial will be in Price Cemetery near Herrick with military rites by the Shelby County Honor Guard. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Vietnam Veterans of America.
He was born October 2, 1944 in Shelbyville the son of Robert F. and Melba R. (Jones) Price.
He severed in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the VFW Post #4829, Shelbyville. He was formerly employed by the Norfolk & Western Railroad, P & H Manufacturing and Shelby County Community Services.
Surviving are daughters, Angie Bryson and Wendy Patterson (Cory) both of Mattoon; grandchildren, Tanner, Logan and Collin; sister, Norma Reedy (Robert) of Shelbyville; brothers, Dan Price of Bloomington and Dennis Price (Lisa) of Shelbyville; sister-in-law, Linda Price of Kansas City, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David Price.
