Earl F. Mose, 80, of Tower Hill, IL, passed away at 1:13 PM Sunday Oct. 26, 2008 in Shelby Memorial Hospital in Shelbyville.
Private family services will be held at a later date.Arrangements are by Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Shelbyville
He was born July 15, 1928 in Shelby County the son of Reuben and Dorthea Pfeiffer Mose. He married Norma Severe April 2, 1955 in Mississippi and she preceded him in death April 25, 2004.
He serves in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War.
Surviving are sons, Edwin Lee Mose (Ruby) of Herrick, Earl Dean Mose (Joyce) of Tower Hill and Randy Mose (Rhynda) of Tower Hill; daughters, Carol Shellenbarger of Shelbyville and Edna Mose of Shelbyville; step-daughter, Patricia Bryant (Kenneth) of Shelbyville; 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, Robert Dean Mose; brother, Floyd Mose and sister, Ethel Whitlatch.
