Raymond Marshall Lewis, 84, of Findlay passed away at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday (May 6, 2008) at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday in the Lockart-Green Funeral Home, Findlay with Richard Hargraves officiating. Visitation will be one hour before service time. Burial will be in French Cemetery, Allenville with military rites. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
He was born November 8, 1923 in Findlay the son of Raymond and Emma Lee Lewis. He married Flossie Miller, April 24, 1945 in Shelbyville and she preceded him in death July 21, 2007.
He was a veteran of WW II serving in the US Army and a member of the American Legion in Findlay.
Surviving are sons, Michael D. Lewis of Perryville, MO, John T. Lewis of Murphysboro, Kenneth R. Lewis of Chester and George W. Lewis (Letisha) of Findlay; daughters, Patsy Roy (Norm) of Odessa, MO, Shirley Douglas (Bill) of Charleston, Marsha Plunkett (Maurice) of Perryville, MO, Sue Malloy (Bruce) of Church Hill, TN and Rose M. Howard of Perryville, MO; sisters, Wanda Riley of Herrick and Mary Lindemuth of Zephyr Hills, FL; 35 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 62 years, Flossie, 1 brother and 4 sisters.
