Louis J. Largent 67 of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 5:22 AM Saturday Mar. 28, 2009 in Shelby Memorial Hospital in Shelbyville.
Mr. Largent was born Feb. 25 1942 at Henton, IL the son of John W. and Esther Johns Largent.
Louis was employed by Shelby County Community Services and lived at Cornerstone Apartments for 14 years.He, formerly, served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany.
Surviving are brothers James Ray Largent and wife Diane of Pana, IL and Glenn Largent and wife Joyce of Shelbyville; four nieces and nephews: Joann Largent of Pana, Rev. John Largent of Nokomis, IL, Dan Largent of Bethany and Cindy Rankin of Mattoon, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Esther.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday Mar. 31, 2009 in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville.Rev. John Largent will officiate.Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time at Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Shelbyville on Tuesday.Memorials:Shelbyville Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
