Kenneth Kyle

Kenneth Leroy Kyle of Aubrey, TX passed away peacefully on Sunday April 6, 2008 at his home.Kenneth (Kenny) was born August 9, 1922 in Shumway, Illinois to Charles and Maude Phillips Kyle.Kenneth was there first born and weighed fifteen pounds at birth.

Kenneth was drafted into the service in 1941 and attained the rank of sergeant.He served with the Calvary Division in the Army.Following his time of service, Kenneth became a welder and traveled extensively throughout the United States and Mexico.He was proud to have worked on the Alaska pipeline.He was a member of the Pipeliners Union 798 for fifty- seven years.

Arkansas was considered home to Kenneth and his family for thirty years and from there, they moved to Oklahoma and later on to Texas.An avid fisherman and hunter, Kenneth loved to spend time outdoors.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, his son Charles and daughter LaWanda Lindsey.

Survivors include his daughter Janice Murray and husband Richard of Aubrey, TX, his brother Dick Kyle and wife Sandy of Ohio, his brother Stanley Kyle and wife Shirley of Centralia, Illinois, sister Hilda Giorango of Chicago, Illinois, sister Maxine Ward and her husband Grady of Florida and his former wife of forty-two years, Dorothy Kyle.He is also survived by seven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation at Lockart -Green Funeral Home, Beecher City, Illinois on Thursday at 10:00 am. Funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Hubbartt Cemetery in Beecher City with military rites. Memorials may be made to the Rock Hill Baptist Church Building Fund, 3000 Rock Hill Road, Aubrey, TX 76227
