Olive Marie Johnson, 90, of Shelbyville passed away at 11:25 p.m. Monday (April 6, 2009) in the Mason Point Nursing Home, Sullivan.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Lockart-Green Funeral Home, Shelbyville. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in the Findlay Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Wesley Chapel Church, Shelbyville.
She was born March 17, 1919 in the Quigley community near Windsor the daughter of James Nathen and Mary Zerilda Moryer Walker. She married Walter (Buck) Johnson and he preceded her in death April 31, 1988.
She was a member of the Wesley Chapel Church, Shelbyville.
Surviving are one son, Richard (Susan) Johnson of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Amber (Neil) Elder of Sullivan, Richard “Jay” (Natalie) Johnson of Mt. Zion, Amanda Dove, Mindy (Shane) Myers, Zach Nichols and Marisa Nichols all of Shelbyville; great-grandchildren, Brody Elder and Emilee Elder of Sullivan, Bentley Dove and Kalie Myers of Shelbyville; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J.N. and Mary Walker, husband, Walter “Buck” Johnson, brothers, Bert, Carroll and Elmer Walker and sister, Dorothy Walker and Nellie Quigley.
