William H. Howard, Sr., 91, of Shelbyville died at 4:10 p.m. Wednesday (May 28, 2008) at the residence of his son.
He was born February 2, 1917 in Crawford Co., IL the son of George Albert and Louise Granville Howard. He married Rosann Lala, June 3, 1950 in Chicago and she preceded him in death May 14, 1997.
He was a retired truck driver and affiliated with Church of the Nazarene, Shelbyville.
Surviving are sons, William Howard, Jr. of Shelbyville and Dennis Howard of Rockford; daughter, Patricia Pashke of Orangeville, CA; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son, two brothers and three sisters.
Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Hillside, IL. Local arrangements are by Lockart-Green Funeral Home, Shelbyville.
