Kenneth D. Glosser Sr. 74, of Windsor passed away at 6:15 a.m. Friday Jan. 16, 2009 at his residence.
Burial will be at a later date in Roselawn Cemetery in Charleston. Arrangements are by Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, Windsor.
He was born February 1, 1934 in Coles County the son of William and Fannie Maxine Toops Glosser. He married Reba Diane Stevens, May 4, 1957 in Coles County.
He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of the VFW in Charleston and the American Legion in Windsor. He was a retired police officer from Eastern Illinois University.
Surviving are his wife, Reba; sons Kenneth Glosser, Jr. and wife Michele of Windsor and Jeffrey Glosser of Charleston; granddaughter Lindsey Glosser.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 7 sisters, 6 brothers and granddaughter Maranda Glosser.
