Phyllis Fritts
Phyllis D. Fritts, 85, of Windsor died at 12:20 p.m. Friday (April 18, 2008) at the Douglas Rehabilitation & Care Center, Mattoon.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, Windsor with Rev. Richard Eident officiating. Visitation will be one hour before service time. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery, Sullivan. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, Windsor or the Lincolnland Hospice.
She was born April 29, 1922 in Viburg, SD the daughter of Cyril Francis and Vera Mae White Adams. She married Kale Craig in September of 1939 and he preceded her in death February 5, 1954. She then married Ira H. Fritts July 29, 1960 in Toledo.
She was a member of the First Christian Church, Windsor and the Eden Rebekah Lodge, Windsor.
Surviving are her husband, Ira; daughters, Genean Hendrix, Vera Ann Lumppand Kalea Turner all of Windsor, Sandra McGovern of Pana, Joyce Richeson of Cerro Gordo and Linda Allen of Farina; sons, Ellis Craigand Rick Fritts both of Sullivan, John Craig and Jim Craig both of Windsor and Steve Fritts of Strasburg; sisters, Ella Mae West of Shelbyville and Geraldine Mathis of Albany; brother, Robert Adams of Strasburg; 19 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, two brothers and three grandchildren.. |
