Marjorie Ruth Doss, 82, formerly of Windsor died at 1:47 a.m. Monday (November 10, 2008) in the Odd Fellows-Rebekah Home, Mattoon.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the Windsor Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, Windsor.
She was born September 29, 1926 in Decatur the daughter of Albert and Cora Calvert Davis. She married Kenneth Doss and he preceded her in death in 1987.
She was a former member of the VFW Auxiliary in Sullivan. She was formerly employed at Shafer’s Drug Store and Tastee Freeze in Windsor and the Brown Shoe Co. in Sullivan and Mattoon.
Surviving are sons, Terry Doss of Windsor and James Doss of Mattoon; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and one sister.
