John Dilley, 84, of Billings MT formerly of Henton died July 29, 2009 in Billings MT.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 18, 2009 in the Henton Cemetery with Pastor Ron Brown officiating. Military rites will be by the Shelby County Honor Guard. Arrangements are by Lockart-Green Funeral Home, Shelbyville. Cremation services were conducted by Smith Funeral Home in Billings, MT.
He was born August 11, 1924 in Christian County the son of John and Estella (Sanford) Dilley.
He served in the US Army during WW II and was awarded two Bronze Stars. He was formerly employed by Ridge Township and the C& EI Railroad.
Surviving are his companion, Marcella Dilley of Billings, MT; three children, Fredrick of Arizona, Sandra and Michael of Billings, MT; sisters, Alberta Brown of Pana, Letha Thomas of Alabama and Shirley Jones of Pana; brothers, Gene Dilley of Henton, Jesse Dilley of Pana and Woody Dilley of Olney; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and six brothers.
