A. Jean Dial
A. Jean (Howard) Dial, 87, of Beecher City died at 5:00 p.m. Sunday (April 6, 2008) in the St. Anthony’s Hospital, Effingham.
Graveside services will be held at 11: 00 a.m. Wednesday in the Beecher City Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lockart-Green Funeral Home, Beecher City. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
She was born September 21, 1920 in Lerna the daughter of Harrison and Lynette McCaskey Howard. She married Wayne Dial, January 31, 1935 and he preceded her in death November 11, 1976.
She was retired from Lutheran Care Center in Altamont and formerly employed at the Illinois Glove Factory in Effingham and the Altamont Garmet Factory.
Surviving are sons, Floyd Dial of Altamont and Jim Dial of Effingham; grandchildren, Phillip, Gina, Barbara, Sharon, Barry, Connie, Cheryl, Caryn, Becky, Rena and Shelly; great-grandchildren, Wesley, Eric, Mitch, Kelli, Damion, Kiefer, D.J., Josh, Christie, Courtney, Cayla, Mitchell, Tanner and Trace; sister, Beulah Doty of San Joaquin Valley Center, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Raleigh, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
