Marjorie Ann Curry, 74, of Gays passed away at 11:30 p.m. Sunday (August 30, 2009) in the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Care Center, Coles, County.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, Windsor. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Branchside Cemetery, Gays. Memorials may be made to the Gays Christian Church.
She was born October 22, 1934 near Gays the daughter of Ode and Mamie (Wetherell) Curry.
She was a member of the Gays Christian Church and volunteered for the USO for several years. She retired after 38 years from Kemper Insurance in Decatur, where she formerly lived.
Surviving are brother, Tom Curry of Gays; cousins, Richard and Janet Blackburn and Carol Cothern all of Gays.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
