Jason Wayne Cox 33 of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 5:30 PM Saturday June 21, 2008.
Jason was born Sept. 17, 1974 in Terre Haute, IN the son of James F. and Waynetta R. (Norton) Cox.
Surviving are: the mother of his children, Crystal D. Hannah of Shelbyville; daughter Vanitty L. Hannah of Shelbyville; son Jason W. Cox Jr. of Shelbyville; mother Waynetta Jacobs of Bay St. Louis, MS; father James F. Cox of Sullivan, IN; sisters:Angela Morris of Savannah, GA, Deborah Morrison of Ludowici, GA, Tracy Cox of Norfolk, VA, Wendy Bennett of Merom, IN and Loretta Deal of Sullivan, IN.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday June 27, 2008 in the First Church of the Nazarene in Shelbyville.Rev. Greg Breeden will officiate.Memorials can be made to an education fund for Vanitty and Jason Jr. c/o Shelby County State Bank in Shelbyville.Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Shelbyville is assisting the family with arrangements.
