Kylie Jo Coventry, 26, of Shelbyville passed away Monday (April 13, 2009) at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Lockart-Green Funeral Home, Shelbyville. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. The family request casual attire at the service. Memorials may be made to the Mothers Against Meth Amphetamines.
She was born November 15, 1982 in Vandalia the daughter of John W. and Jeanne R. Phelps Coventry.
She attended Shelbyville Schools and Lake Land College.She was an ATA instructor at Lake Land and earned a 2nd degree Black belt in Taekwondo. Her greatest love was music.
Surviving are her mother, Jeanne and special friend, Mike Sisk of Pana; sister, Erin Hennings (Rob) of Shelbyville; grandparents, Barbara Phelps and Wayne Coventry both of Shelbyville; nieces and nephews, Sadie Hennings, Shawn Hennings, Nichole Logue and Meliah Hennings: uncles and aunts, Kathy Isley, Terri Phelps, Vicki Phelps, Russ Phelps, Ronnie Coventry, Tom Coventry, David Coventry, Mary Clark, Karen Turner and Carol Kachmarik.
She was preceded in death by her father, John and grandparents, Jewell Coventry and Gene Phelps.
She will be sadly missed by her family, many friends and special music buddy, Michael Young.
