Pat Cooper 68, of Green Valley, AZ, formerly of Windsor, IL, passed away at 2:55 PM Saturday Feb. 28, 2009 in the Casa Blanca Assisted Living Center in Sahuarita, AZ surrounded by her family.
Pat was born Dec. 6, 1940 in Pauls Valley, OK the daughter of Charles and Jewel Vaughn Ritcheson.
She married Gary Neal Cooper on Feb. 10, 1962 in Maysville, OK and he passed away June 23, 2006.
Pat was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.She fought a long, brave battle against cancer and her faith in God and her resolve to” press on” continued strong until the very end.She touched so many lives with her words of encouragement and her smile.Her legacy will live on with those whose lives she impacted.
Pat is survived by sons: Barry Cooper of Green Valley, AZ and Chuck Cooper and wife Debbie of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren: Tyler, Kirsten, and Rachel Cooper; mother-in-law Ruth Cooper of Broken Arrow, OK; brother Charles R. Ritcheson and wife Alice; nieces: Cheryl Foster, Renetta Burton and Kris Kimbrough.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gary, her parents, brother Skip Ritcheson and sisterBetty Ritcheson.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday Mar. 7, 2009 in Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home in Windsor.Memorials can be made to the First Assembly of God Church: 18180 South La Canada Dr.Sahuarita, AZ 85629
