William Otto Cole, 69, of Windsor died at 6:00 a.m. Saturday (May 31, 2008) at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, Windsor with Pastor Cathy Minor officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in the Windsor Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church, Windsor or the Windsor Area Ambulance Service.

He was born December 19, 1938 in Shelby County the son of William Harold and Eula Fay Camic Cole. He married his high school sweetheart, Patricia Ann Murphy, July 13, 1957 in Windsor.

He was a farmer. He was a member of the Windsor United Methodist Church, Mattoon Eagles Club, Windsor Gun Club, former member of the Moose Lodge and Country Club in Shelbyville, served on the Windsor City Council, Windsor Picnic Committee and the Windsor Fire Department. Bill love to fish, bowl, play pool, card games and golf. He loved his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife, Patricia; daughters, Cathy Willingham (Mark) of Mattoon and Kim Tilford (Jim) of Windsor; grandchildren, Michelle Wise of Mattoon, Matt Willingham of Mattoon, Ryne Willingham of Japan, Ashley Perry of Windsor, Anson Tilford of Windsor and Cole Tilford of Windsor; sisters, Ellen May (Jo) Lawyer (Ron) of Columbus, MS, Nancy Metcalf (Lee) of Port Orange, FL and Phyllis Seals of Ft. Myers Beach, FL; 4 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, William Otto Cole, Jr.
