Martha Louise (Kuhn) Clotfelter
Martha Louise Clotfelter, age 89, of Windsor passed away on April 10, 2008, in her home in Windsor, IL.
A funeral service for Mrs. Clotfelter will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home in Windsor on Monday, April 14, 2008 with the Rev. Richard Eident officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday at Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, Windsor.Burial will be in Dodge Grove Cemetery in Mattoon, Illinois.
Mrs. Clotfelter was born July 23, 1918 in Jewett, Illinois, the daughter of Raymond and Iva Wellbaum Kuhn.
Surviving is one daughter, Dorothy (Briscoe) Romberg and husband Allan of Lincoln, IL; granddaughter Nancy Mueller and husband Steve of Elk Grove Village, IL; great granddaughters Erin and Keri of Elk Grove Village, IL; one sister, Barbara (Floyd) Horath of Springfield, IL; and one brother, James Raymond Kuhn of Portland, OR.
She was preceded in death by her husbands William R. Briscoe, Lloyd Miller, and Onie Clotfelter and daughter, Susan Bauer.
Martha was especially fond of her Alpha Phi “girls” at Eastern Illinois University where she served as House Mother for nineteen years.
