Beverly Ann Close, 54, of Effingham passed away at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday (December 22, 2009) at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the Brummerstedt Funeral Home, Stewardson with Rev. Robert Turner officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in the Stewardson Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family % Prairie National Bank, Stewardson. The family requests casual attire.
Beverly was born July 15, 1955 in Taylorville, the daughter of Arthur Russell and Stella (Randall) Kay. She married Robert O. Close on September 5, 1981 in Ridgeland, SC and he preceded here in death, November 13, 2007.
Beverly was a former CNA and formerly worked as a homecare giver.
Left to cherish her memory is her sister, June Linder of Stewardson and her brother, Harold Kay of Dodge City, KN and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Steven Kay.
