Maxine Breuil, 91, long time resident of Bal Harbour and Indian Creek, Florida died on July 8, 2009. She was born to Edward and Myrtle McKenzie in Coella, Illinois, on October 6, 1918.
After graduating from Effingham High School, class of 1935, she graduated from business college, and was employed as a legal and office secretary in Effingham, Illinois.
Maxine was a long time member of The Church By The Sea, the Indian Creek Golf and Country Club, and many other charitable organizations and clubs.
She was predeceased by husbands James F. Breuil, Miami businessman and Christopher Brent and brothers, Charles and James. She is survived by her daughter, Jane Breuil Condos of Miami, step-daughter, Alicia Lammerts, brothers, Clovis McKenzie of Oklahoma City, OK and Robert McKenzie of Westerville, OH.
Interment services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday (July 23, 2009) in the Windsor Cemetery with Pastor Cathy Minor officiating. Friends and family may gather at Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, Windsor after 10:00 a.m. Thursday to proceed to the cemetery.
