Rosetta L. (Rosie) Agney 63 of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 8:03 PM Sunday Sept. 21, 2008 in the Shelbyville Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Shelbyville.

Rosie was born Jan. 13, 1945 at Holliday, IL the daughter of Arthur Ray and Beulah Shrake Sanders.

She married Larry J. Agney April 4, 1966 at Cowden, IL.

Rosie was salutatorian of Cowden High School Class of 1963.She loved being outdoors and especially loved to hunt mushrooms.Rosie was a homemaker and did not hesitate to tackle any home repair or remodeling projects in her own home or for her family and friends, and she was a perfectionist.Formerly, she was employed by Sta-Rite Ginnie Lou Corporation and Hardy Tree Service.

Surviving are her husband Larry; children: Brenda Richardson and husband Ernie(Bud) of Shelbyville, Amy Cutler and husband Dean of Monticello, IL and Gary(Bumper) Agney and wife Christy of Assumption, IL; grandchildren: Jamie Agney and special friend Steven Borders, Ashley Rentfro, Lauren Agney, Kyle Agney and Hollie Richardson; step-grandchildren: Jessica Richardson and Josh Richardson; great grandchildren: Taylor Borders, Carter Borders, Hannah Borders; step-great grandchild Tayven Vaughn; mother Beulah Sanders of Holliday, IL; sister: Lola Endsley and husband Gary of Lakewood; brother: Elwin E. Sanders of Holliday, IL; special friends Matt andDawn Hardy.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday Sept. 24, 2008 in Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Shelbyville. Rev. Kevin Bonifacius will officiate.Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of the service on Wednesday.Burial will be in Robinson Creek Cemetery near Shelbyville.Memorials can be made to the Activity Fund at Shelbyville Rehabilitation and Care Center of Shelbyville or the American Cancer Society.
