Cathie A. Underwood, 67, of Stewardson, Illinois, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2024. Born on September 20, 1956, in Effingham, Illinois, Cathie was the beloved daughter of Calvin and Opal Delores (Ballinger) Mueller. She was a 1975 graduate of Stewardson-Strasburg High School.

Cathie's memory will be cherished and kept alive by her daughter, Cindy Laver of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Brittany, Zane, and Zachary Laver, all of Oklahoma; her sister, Carol (Steve) Blythe of Stewardson; brothers, Corkie Mueller of Alma, Clark (Barb) Mueller, and Cobert (Kathy) Mueller, all of Effingham, and her sister-in-law, Susan Mueller of Stewardson.

She now joins in peace her parents, Calvin and Opal Delores Mueller, her brother, Clifford Mueller, and sister-in-law, Betty Mueller, who preceded her in death.

Honoring Cathie's wishes, no services will be held. The Brummerstedt Funeral Home in Stewardson is assisting the family with arrangements.
