William Blair Obituary

William Lee Blair, 89, of Decatur, left Aspen Care Memory for his Heavenly Home on Thursday, May 4, 2017. On November 3, 1948, he and Adeline Wolf were united in marriage in Louisville, IL. Lee was a post WW II veteran. He served on the island of Guam from 1946-1948 as a Navy Seabee, construction battalion. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Adeline and three sisters. He is survived by his daughter, Faye Bennett and husband Greg of Windsor; granddaughter Ashley Bennett; grandson William Drew and wife Danielle; brother Robert "Bob" Bair and wife Nellie, and many nieces and nephews. Private family graveside services will be at the Red Brush Cemetery in Louisville. Lee attended Calvary Baptist Church in Decatur. Lovins Lockart Funeral Home in Windsor is assisting the family.
