Randal Clair Peifer

Randal Clair Peifer, 55, formerly of Cowden, passed away June 14, 2017 in Santa Fe, NM. Randy was born May 19, 1962, in Shelbyville, the son of Charles and Lola (Yarnell) Peifer.

Randy graduated from Cowden-Herrick High School in the Class of 1980 and then served eight years in the United States Navy. After separating from the service, he worked construction, maintenance and painting.

He is survived by his mother, Lola Peifer of Cowden; brother Robert Dale (Amy) Peifer of Lebanon, IL; two nieces; one nephew; four great nephews; one great niece and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by both sets of his grandparents and his father, Charles Peifer.

There will be a memorial service to honor and celebrate Randy's life on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Cowden.
