Morris W. Gordon, 63, of Shelbyville passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017 at HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital in Shelbyville. Born March 25, 1954 in Shelbyville Morris was the son of James and Wanda (Moore) Gordon. He was a 1972 graduate of Shelbyville High School. On December 6, 1974, he and Judy Winings were united in marriage in Shelbyville. For many years, he was a CNC operator at HMAC in Effingham, and for over twenty years he worked for Trailmobile in Charleston. Morris was a member at First Presbyterian Church, enjoyed listening to music, drag racing, fishing and spending time with his family. Morris is survived by his wife Judy of Shelbyville, three sons James B. Gordon of Clarksburg, Jason B. Gordon of Shelbyville and Joshua D. Gordon of Shelbyville; Six grandchildren Brittany, Emma, Cory Gordon, Alana Geer, Kylie and Jackson HW Gordon; one brother Steve (Barb) Gordon of Niles, MI; two sisters Peggy (Roscoe) Richards of Cowden and Becky (Mary) Gordon of Carbondale. Preceding him in death were his parents, one son Eric W. Gordon, sister Connie Gordon and a brother Raymond Gordon. Visitation will be Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Shelbyville. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Memorials may be directed to the family.
