Joyce Walker

Joyce Walker, 83, of Windsor, IL passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Joyce was born on July 12, 1935, the daughter of Paul and Lagreta (Finley) Hostetter. Joyce and John Walker were united in marriage on January 9, 1963. For more than 20 years she was a beautician in the Windsor area. Joyce attended the New Beginning Apostolic Church in Sullivan. She was a kind-hearted person who loved everyone, she was a talented artist who enjoyed painting, crocheting, quilting, cooking and spending time with her family.

She will be dearly missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and brothers.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one son.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home in Windsor. Burial will take place at Sand Creek Cemetery in rural Windsor. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
