Edith E. Moberley

Edith E. Moberley, 93, of Mattoon, formerly of Windsor, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the Mattoon Health Center in Mattoon.

She was born on December 15, 1923 in Mattoon, the daughter of Silas and Nellie (Gosnell) Miller. Edith married Donald Moberley and he preceded her in death in 2001. Edith enjoyed gardening, growing flowers and especially loved her grandchildren.

Edith is survived by three sons: David (Sharon Rich) Moberley of Mattoon, Jeff (Tracey) Moberley of North Liberty, IA and Steve Moberley of Champaign; five grandchildren Scott, Alicia (Chase) Carter, Ryan, Steven and Jamie and several nieces. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 5, 2017 at Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home in Windsor. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. Burial will be at the Windsor Cemetery.
