Doris Doehring Obituary

Doris E. Doehring, 99, of Windsor, passed away at home on Wednesday, August 16, 2017.

Doris was born February 18, 1918, in Sullivan, the daughter of Dallas and Lucile (Ward) Hampton. She married Harry Doehring and he preceded her in death. Doris was a teacher in the Windsor School District, was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Strasburg and enjoyed music, gardening and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by sons, Fred (Kathy) Doehring of Strasburg and David Doehring of Effingham; five grandchildren: Natalie, Michael, Nichole, Lindsay and Kelsey; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and three sisters.

Graveside services will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Strasburg. Memorials may be made to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church Choir or Ladies Aid.
