Dixie Doll Obituary
Dixie L. Doll, 73, of Shelbyville, passed away at home on Thursday, May 4, 2017.
A Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 12:00 p.m. at Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Shelbyville. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Dixie was born on August 23, 1943 in Strausburg, the daughter of Cecil "Joe" Doll and Kathran E. and Edgar Reedy. She worked at Olivewood Nursing Home in Shelbyville and Shelbyville Memorial Hospital for many years.
She is survived by brother Rick (Helen) Reedy of Bloomington; nephews Stacy (Jenny) Reedy of Shelbyville, Colin and Ryan Reedy of Bloomington; Aunt Jane Sanborn of Shelbyville; Uncles Jim (Faye) Tull of Shelbyville and Clifford (Bert) Tull of Surprise, AZ; great nieces Cheyenne (Tyler) Pieszchalski and Skyler Reedy; great nephews Quinton, Blade, Garrett and Brock Reedy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Terry Reedy and nephew Mark Reedy.
