Debra S. Riley

Debra S. Riley, 65, of Cowden, passed away at 4:35 a.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital in Shelbyville.

Debra was born December 12, 1951, in Charleston, the daughter of William and Patricia (Temple) Bishop. She married Merlin E. Riley Jr. in December 1967. She treasured family time, especially time spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Merlin of Cowden; two children: Troy Riley of Cowden and Lori Audrina Riley of Neoga; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Wanda Riley of Herrick; sister, Candice (Jerry) George of Springfield; brother, Bill E. (Mary Jo) Bishop of Ann Arbor, MI and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, son Michael and a sister at infancy.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 25, 2017 at Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Cowden with Pastor Jeremy Suey officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place in Hubbartt Cemetery in Beecher City. Memorials may be made to Christ Tabernacle Church in Herrick.
